Search Visibility
See how your content performs in Google Search and discover opportunities to improve.
Overview
Search Visibility (under Insights in the sidebar) connects to Google Search Console so you can monitor traffic, rankings, and content opportunities in Casper—alongside your calendar and AI Visibility.
Use it to spot declining rankings, near–page-one keywords, cannibalization, and pages with high impressions but low CTR, then turn those insights into new or updated articles.
Getting Started
1. Connect Google Search Console
Go to Settings → Integrations, connect Google Search Console, and choose the property for this organization. You can manage or refresh the connection from Search Visibility as well.
2. Explore Overview
The Overview shows clicks, impressions, CTR, and average position, plus a traffic chart. Switch date ranges (for example 7 days, 28 days, 90 days, or 12 months) and group by day, week, or month.
3. Dig into Keywords and Pages
Open the Keywords and Pages tabs for sortable tables with trends (highest, growing, declining). Filter by device, country, and page or keyword contains/excludes.

Best Practices
Pair Search Visibility with Topics
After connecting GSC, enrich Topics with live ranking data so your Content Strategy map reflects what's already covered vs. still open.
Fix near-wins before chasing new head terms
Keywords sitting just outside page one or with strong impressions and weak CTR often repay edits faster than brand-new topics.
Watch AI and Google together
Use Search Visibility for classic SEO performance and AI Visibility for how models recommend you—so content strategy covers both discovery channels.
Common Questions
Why don't I see data yet?
Confirm Google Search Console is connected, the correct property is selected, and the property has Search Console data for the date range. New connections may take a short time to sync.
Is Search Visibility included on all paid plans?
Yes—Starter, Pro, and Advanced include Google Search Console / Search Visibility. See Plans & Billing.
Can I disconnect or change the property?
Yes. Use Manage connection from Search Visibility or Settings → Integrations to refresh, change property, or disconnect.
