Understand Casper's pricing plans, manage your subscription, track usage, and learn about billing and payment options.
Overview
Casper offers Starter, Pro, and Advanced plans. Paid plans include Autoblog, CMS publishing, Search Visibility (Google Search Console), AI Visibility, and unlimited team members. Plans differ mainly by monthly limits—articles, AI Visibility prompts, keyword search credits, and topic explores.
Manage everything from Settings → Usage, Plan & Billing. You can upgrade, add credits, or cancel at any time. Full pricing is also on the pricing page.

Ideal for a small site that needs a steady trickle of SEO content and light AI Visibility tracking.

AI prompt tracking has a soft product cap (contact support if you need to go higher).
Usage Tracking
What we meter
- Articles — generating or regenerating an article counts toward your monthly limit; editing, publishing, or scheduling does not
- AI Visibility prompts — how many questions you can track across ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, and Perplexity (refreshed weekly)
- Keyword searches — Research lookups, SERP analysis, and competitor gap searches
- Topic explores — building a topic cluster / map from a seed idea in Research
Where to see usage
Check current usage in Settings → Usage, Plan & Billing. Limits reset at the start of each billing cycle. Unused credits don't roll over.
Managing Your Subscription
Upgrading
To upgrade your plan:
- Go to Settings → Usage, Plan & Billing
- Choose a higher plan or add-on
- Complete checkout
Upgrades take effect right away. You'll typically receive a prorated adjustment for the remainder of the current billing period.
Downgrading
To downgrade:
- Go to Settings → Usage, Plan & Billing
- Open Manage Subscription
- Select a lower plan and confirm
Downgrades usually apply at the end of the current billing period. You keep your current plan until then.
Cancellation
To cancel:
- Go to Settings → Usage, Plan & Billing
- Open Manage Subscription
- Cancel Subscription and confirm
Access continues through the end of the paid period, including remaining article and research credits for that cycle.
Billing & Payment
Payment methods
We accept major credit cards and process payments securely through Stripe. Payment details are not stored on Casper's servers.
Billing cycle
Plans are billed monthly on the anniversary of your subscription date. You'll receive email notifications around each charge.
Invoices
View and download invoices from Settings → Usage, Plan & Billing. Invoices are also emailed to your account address.
Refunds
Refunds are handled case by case. Contact support if you need help with a refund request.
Common Questions
Do article or research credits roll over?
No. Monthly limits reset at the start of each billing cycle. Use credits within the period or they expire.
What happens if I exceed my article limit?
You'll need to upgrade, purchase an article add-on, or wait until the next billing cycle when usage resets.
Can I change plans anytime?
Yes. Upgrades apply immediately; downgrades and cancellations typically take effect at the end of the billing period.
Is there a discount for annual plans?
Currently we offer monthly billing. Annual options may be available in the future.
