Understand Casper's pricing plans, manage your subscription, track usage, and learn about billing and payment options.
Overview
Casper offers flexible pricing plans to suit different content creation needs. Plans are based on monthly article limits, with usage tracking and automatic billing. You can upgrade, downgrade, or cancel at any time.
All plans include access to all features—keyword research, content planning, article generation, editing, and publishing. The difference is in the number of articles you can generate per month.

Usage Tracking
Monthly Limits
Each plan includes a monthly article limit. You can see your current usage in Settings → Billing. Usage resets at the beginning of each billing cycle.
What Counts as Usage
An article counts toward your limit when:
- You generate a new article from a keyword
- You regenerate an article
Editing, publishing, or scheduling existing articles does not count toward your limit.
Usage Resets
Your article limit resets at the beginning of each billing cycle (monthly). Unused articles don't roll over—use them or lose them.
Managing Your Subscription
Upgrading
To upgrade your plan:
- Go to Settings → Billing
- Click Upgrade Plan
- Select your new plan
- Complete the checkout process
You'll be charged immediately, and your new limit will be available right away. You'll receive a prorated credit for the remainder of your current billing period.
Downgrading
To downgrade your plan:
- Go to Settings → Billing
- Click Manage Subscription
- Select a lower plan
- Confirm the change
Your plan will change at the end of your current billing period. You'll retain access to your current plan's features until then.
Cancellation
To cancel your subscription:
- Go to Settings → Billing
- Click Manage Subscription
- Click Cancel Subscription
- Confirm cancellation
Your subscription will remain active until the end of your current billing period. You'll retain access to all features and can continue using your remaining article credits.
Billing & Payment
Payment Methods
We accept all major credit cards and process payments securely through Stripe. Your payment information is never stored on our servers.
Billing Cycle
Plans are billed monthly. You'll be charged on the same date each month (the date you first subscribed). You'll receive email notifications before each billing date.
Invoices
You can view and download invoices from Settings → Billing. All invoices are emailed to your account email address.
Refunds
We offer refunds on a case-by-case basis. Contact support if you need assistance with a refund request.
Common Questions
Do article credits roll over?
No, article credits don't roll over. Your monthly limit resets at the beginning of each billing cycle. We recommend using all your credits each month.
What happens if I exceed my limit?
If you exceed your monthly limit, you'll need to upgrade to a higher plan or wait until the next billing cycle when your usage resets.
Can I change plans anytime?
Yes! You can upgrade, downgrade, or cancel your subscription at any time. Changes take effect immediately for upgrades, and at the end of your billing period for downgrades.
Is there a discount for annual plans?
Currently, we only offer monthly billing. Annual plans with discounts may be available in the future—stay tuned!
