Ghost Integration
Publish articles directly to your Ghost blog using the Ghost Admin API.
Ghost(Pro) plan required
The integration uses Ghost's Admin API, which is not available on the Starter plan. You need a Publisher plan or higher (Business, Custom) for Admin API and custom integrations to work. Check Ghost pricing to confirm your plan.
How to connect Ghost
- In Casper, go to your organization Settings → Integrations and click "Add connection". Select Ghost.
- Enter a connection name (e.g. "My Ghost Blog") and your Ghost site URL (e.g.
https://myblog.com). Do not include a trailing slash. - Create an Admin API key in Ghost: log in to Ghost Admin (yoursite.com/ghost), go to Settings → Integrations, click "Add custom integration", name it (e.g. "Casper"), and copy the Admin API key. Paste it into Casper (format is
id:secret). - Choose the default post status (draft or published) and whether to upload featured images to Ghost. Click "Test Connection" to verify, then "Connect to Ghost".
What you can do
- Publish or schedule articles as drafts or published posts
- Send title, HTML content, excerpt, and SEO meta (meta title, meta description)
- Optional featured image: upload to Ghost or use the image URL as-is
- Use the content calendar to attach Ghost to articles and publish on schedule
